1. About HeyDubai

HeyDubai is an experimental social app created by Vakas Siddiqui, a Dubai-based Digital Products Creator. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use HeyDubai. The app is independently operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any government entity, government agency, or private organization in the United Arab Emirates or any other jurisdiction. Apple Inc. is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or any content, activity, or transaction within it.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use HeyDubai. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Community guidelines

To keep HeyDubai safe and welcoming for everyone, the following is not allowed:

• Objectionable content of any kind, including profanity, hate speech, harassment, threats, discrimination, bullying, or abuse toward other users.
• Sexually explicit, violent, graphic, illegal, or otherwise offensive material.
• Spam, scams, external links, contact information, or commercial solicitation inside posts.
• Impersonation, fake accounts, or misleading identities.
• Any behavior intended to intimidate, humiliate, or harm another person.
• Posts, photos and profile pictures may be moderated by AI or human review and removed if they violate these terms.

4. Real neighborhoods and buildings only

Communities and buildings created on HeyDubai must represent real, physical living communities or buildings — for example, “Arabian Ranches 3” or “Royal JVC Building”. Names that represent personal groups, generic nicknames, nationality-based groups, interests, or anything that is not an actual neighborhood place are not allowed. We may remove, rename, or restrict communities and buildings that do not meet this requirement.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post. You grant HeyDubai a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute your content inside the app for the purpose of operating the service. You are solely responsible for what you post. Do not post content that you do not have the right to share.

6. Enforcement

We actively moderate HeyDubai using both automated tools and human review. Any user who posts objectionable content or behaves abusively may be warned, have content removed, have features restricted, or be suspended or permanently banned without prior notice. We may also report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.

7. Reporting abuse

If you see content or a user that violates these Terms, please report it in the app or email us at support@heydubaiapp.com. We review reports as quickly as possible and take appropriate action.

8. Disclaimers

HeyDubai is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for experimental purposes. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that any content posted by users is accurate, safe, or appropriate. Your use of the app is entirely at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vakas Siddiqui, HeyDubai, and its affiliates, officers, agents, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the app, including any content, interactions, transactions, or third-party conduct. This applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. We are not responsible for any loss, injury, dispute, or harm that may result from your use of the app or reliance on any information posted by other users.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vakas Siddiqui, HeyDubai, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the app, your content, or your violation of these terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
