1. About this app

HeyDubai is an experimental social app created by Vakas Siddiqui, a Dubai-based Digital Products Creator. This app is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any government entity, government agency, or private organization in the United Arab Emirates or elsewhere. Apple Inc. is not involved in the operation of HeyDubai and is not responsible for any content or activity in the app.

2. Real neighborhoods and buildings only

When you create a community or building, you must name it after a real, physical living community or building — for example, “Arabian Ranches 3” or “Royal JVC Building”. We do not allow communities or buildings named after personal groups, nationalities, generic nicknames, or anything that is not an actual neighborhood place. We may remove or rename communities and buildings that do not meet this standard.

3. Information we collect

• Account details: name, photo, bio, home country, area and community.
• Sign-in identifiers: Apple ID or UAE mobile number.
• Content you post: text, photos, likes, and comments.
• Device data: app version, device model, and push tokens.

4. How we use it

• To power the City, Area and Community feeds.
• To moderate content, enforce our zero-tolerance policy, and help keep the community safe.
• To send push notifications for likes, comments and community activity.

5. Objectionable content and abuse

We do not allow objectionable content or abusive behavior on HeyDubai. This includes, but is not limited to, hate speech, harassment, threats, bullying, discrimination, sexually explicit material, violence, illegal activity, impersonation, spam, scams, and any content intended to intimidate or harm others. We use automated systems and human moderators to detect and remove violating content and accounts. Users can report abuse directly in the app or by emailing support@heydubaiapp.com.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Posts, comments and profiles are visible to other HeyDubai users at the feed level you choose. We do not share personal data with third parties except as required to operate the app (e.g., cloud hosting and push notification services) and only to the extent necessary.

7. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. We keep your data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

8. Children

HeyDubai is not intended for users under 16. If you are under 16, please do not use the app or provide any personal information.
